FIC Capítulo 47
Mil gracias por pasarse a leer. El capítulo de hoy es corto, pero bien chocante.
Capítulo 48.-
Frank se entusiasmó y animó mucho la existencia con la visita de ayer de Ana, porque ahora regresarían los tiempos emocionantes estando con ella. No obstante, con ese mismo entusiasmo, se preparaba para la visita diaria de Jamia, practicando bien su sincero discurso para terminar con ella. No le iba a salir con esas palabras falsas como "no eres tú, soy yo", pero tampoco sería cruel. Porque sí la quiere, sería honesto y decente como ella se merece.
Estaba decido a hacerlo hoy, lo cual lo mantenía nervioso. Empezó a dialogar solo, para practicar, y en medio de esto le suena el celular. Dio un salto debido al susto. Se burló de sí mismo, y contestó la llamada cuyo identificador de llamadas indica el nombre de Jamia.
-- Hola. -- Saluda Frank.
-- Buenos días. -- Respondió ella.
-- Estoy ansioso porque vengas hoy. Tenemos que hablar.
-- Totalmente de acuerdo. -- Se refirió a sí misma-- Necesitamos hablar.
-- Me alegra que pienses lo mismo.
-- Oh, sí, sin duda alguna.
-- Está bien, te espero.
Trancaron el teléfono, decididos a brindarse esa importante información.
Frank peleó un poco más con los chicos, pero se enojó menos de lo usual, concentrado en su otra cuestión. Ensayaron algunas canciones en el estudio, y terminaron a tiempo para la visita de Jamia.
Bob y Ray salieron a dar una entrevista, acompañados de Brian. Los demás se quedaron en la casa.
Al sonar el timbre, Frank se sobresaltó, y salió corriendo desde su habitación hasta la puerta de entrada. Se emocionó aún más al ver la cara de Jamia en la ventanilla. Tenía un ritmo cardíaco muy acelerado. Se calmó, y cuando se retornó a estado normal, abrió la puerta de entrada.
-- Frank. -- Comienza Jamia.
Pasó al interior de la casa, y Frank cerró la puerta.
-- Jamia. -- Continuó Frank.
Se aproximaba una conversación torpe. Frank tomó la iniciativa.
-- Tengo algo que decirte.
-- Yo también.
-- Oh, ¿en serio? Yo igual.
-- ¿En serio?
Torpe, definitivamente.
-- ¿De qué trata lo tuyo? -- Pregunta Frank.
-- Es muy importante. -- Hizo sospecha Jamia.
-- Mm... lo mío también.
-- ¿De qué trata?
-- Si te digo, tendría que decirlo todo de una vez.
-- Ya veo...
-- Ehm... tú primero.
-- No, tú primero. ¿De qué trata lo tuyo?
-- Por la misma razón no puedo decírtelo. Tendría que decirlo todo de una vez. Tú primero.
-- Jamia...
-- Frank...
-- ¿Cómo hacemos?
-- No lo sé.
Hubo un silencio. Miraron a los alrededores, en busca de una excusa para no decir sus noticias de una sola vez.
-- Ya basta de rodeos. -- Se obstinó Frank.
Voltearon a verse de nuevo.
-- Tú primero, -- Continuó-- porque si yo lo digo, seguro no vas a poder lo tuyo.
-- Bien.
Sonrió. Frank no le dio mucha importancia.
-- ¿De acuerdo? -- Consultó él.
-- Sí.
Sonrió aún más. La respuesta la iba a decir emocionada.
-- ¿Y bien...?
-- Estoy embarazada.

Another Time I think that I am PRETTY ODD...
